Things that I learned when travelling with kids.

As a single woman with bff yg dah ade dua org anak and nak plak she is my best travel buddy just because most of the time could read each other’s mind. (To the extend we brought n wore the same USS’s shirt masa travel g jepun haritu..heheh)

Dah byk kali jugak aku travel either short vacay or more than a week vacay dgn bebudak tu. Nway..fyi anak2 kawan2 I called me Aunty N. But the moms called me Namo (combination of my name n my dad’s name)

So..dlm entry ni I nak share laa ape benda yg aku belaja bile travel dgn bebudak ni. So here goes:

1.Bersabar bile nak gerak pegi jejalan. Sebab Mak bapak penat melayan bebudak n pastu nak bangun awal utk siapkan anak2 n mknn diorg lg. Jadi yg bujang harusla bangun awal skit n tolong ape yg boleh. Mcm planning for the route haritu ke or masak ke.

2.x selfish. Aku memule beli mknn utk aku munch2 je. Tp bile the kids pun dah merasa..Diorg pun sibuklaa nak cikedis kite. Jadi bile next round aku nak beli bekalan. Aku consider jugaklaa ape bebudak ni boleh n suke makan. Best okay share food dgn bebudak.

3.kids are so unexpected. Diorg boleh buat kitr geram sgt rasa mcm nak hilang sabar n then the next minute they will hug you. Cthnye; bebudak ni ikut parents g shopping kat supermarket aku plak terus balik rumah. Bile balik rumah..one of them dtg tanye aku “aunty n penat ke?” For few times..n bile aku jawab kali ketiga..she came forward and hugged me..woah..I was so touched by her gesture.

4.kids boleh x mandi seharian tp tetap cute n x masam mane pun. Ini mmg I x puas hati!!

5.Kalo pegi tempat sejuk..Diorg akan hibernate bile kat luar..bile kat umah or dlm tren..layankan ajelah diorg berguling kat mana sempat. Seriously..main kejar2 dlm shinkansen..hahaha

6.you might not be their parents. But bile travel with kids you have to wear the parent’s hat. Wpun ur friend tak cakap. Tp believe me..deep inside diorg berharap at some point diorg boleh rely kat kite to look after their kids too Wpun sekejapan saje. Cthnye bile diorg dh kepenatan n tido but the kids tgh hyper. Kena laa tolong tgk2kan..

7.improve skills jaga budak.

Korang Camne plak.

  1. Your friend is very lucky to have you.. it is easy to lose good bffs once a woman is married.. but as long as beautiful souls like you stay in the radar… she will never forget what a wonderful soul she always will be – a woman of her own who can still travel and see the world..

    • Awww..your comment totally make my day. We are actually very blessed n lucky to have each other. N hopefully it will stay like that till forever.

  2. And I am one grateful Oma (grandmother) who knows that her grand doters will be in safe hands when they travel with their Aunty N. Thx Namo.
